Ukraine Prosthetic Assistance Project – Report to USISPO from Jon Batzdorff

Based on conversations with the amputee veterans and prosthetists in Ukraine, it became clear that there was a need for help in the area of prosthetics and related rehabilitation. Specifically they needed assistance in fitting upper extremity and highly involved lower extremity amputees. The discussion that began in November developed into the ProsthetiKa Ukraine Prosthetic Assistance Project.

in Tanzania

As a member of the United States Chapter of the International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics, you will:

Membership Categories

Regular Membership    $195.00
Regular membership includes professional members, or persons actively engaged in prosthetics, orthotics and rehabilitation engineering, including research, education, clinical practice and other significant aspects of prosthetics and/or orthotics.

Student Membership    $90.00
Students or trainees in the disciplines as defined above under regular membership. Student application must be supported by documentary evidence from educational establishment or employer. Student membership is normally available for three years upon renewal for each year. Must be accompanied by a letter confirming student status from applicant's school representative or employer of applicant.

Institutional Membership    $520.00
Institutional members have the same privileges as Sponsoring Members. Institutional membership is open to non-commercial institutions such as universities, research centers and clinics.
